Love and Heartbreak: Love

you know that phil spector song that goes 'to know know know him, is to love love love him...'?

well, I heard a local group perform that at a little cafe recently and maybe it has inspired me to get off my bum and finish part one of my two parter - love and heartbreak.

I just listened to heartbreak this morning while making an apple crumble. I loved that version of Wave of Mutilation and hadn't heard it before. I was also really impressed by the inclusion of Tear Us Apart being a huge fan of INXS. The quintessential breakup song for me would have to be Puff The Magic Dragon.

What a memory you have for music Hermione!

i *love* that version of wave of mutilation. i actually went to polyester and bought the complete b-sides just so i could include that song (i used to listen to it off the original 12" at Three D :)
